Before you start your study adventure, first find out whether you qualify for a partially or fully funded scholarship to cover your costs. Total spendings may vary between €20,000 - €35,000 per year, depending on the study programme, the degree you pursue and the city you will live in. Don’t forget to add on top of this any other additional start-up costs for e.g. other extra spendings upon arrival, like furnishing, kitchen utensils or warmer clothes.
The estimation in the overview below is based on the figures that are published by several Dutch universities. Do mind that the bigger cities are more expensive than the smaller cities.
